Digital CertificatesCarillon.CA offers trusted third-party testing services to the air transport industry. This third party is also known as a Certification Authority (CA), which provides the backbone of a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) that allows effective use of digital signatures in the air transport industry. Currently Carillon.CA creates X.509 certificates compliant with ATA DSWG certificate profiles and other industry standards at the test level for application validation and testing. Please contact us for the projected entry into service of our production certificates. DSWG certificates are available in the following classes: Individual Certificates: used by individual people within an organization wishing to exchange information with other individuals, or wishing to digitally sign any document or instrument, or to prove their identity for any purpose.
Device and Server Certificates: assigned to a computer or device and used to identify that device.
Software Assurance Certificates: specialized certificates typically used to identify the publisher of software upgrades which are used on aircraft. These are the certificates you most likely require for the Airbus A380 onboard data loading.
For Testing Purposes OnlyCurrently, Carillon.CA only provides test certificates for validating your application's operation with any of the above certificates. While these test certificates are technically the same as real production certificates (i.e.: they have all of the same fields and functions), the CA has not been audited, so certificates of this type may not be used in a production environment. Please contact us for more details. CertiPath Compliant CertificatesCarillon is able to offer non-cross-certified CertiPath compliant test certificates. Please contact us for more details. Elliptic Curve CertificatesAll of the above certificate types are available in EC variants. For more information, please contact us and we'll be glad to help out. |
